Gaston Kaisin is an Argentinian American trumpeter who has been praised for his brilliance on the trumpet and his joyful energy onstage. In 2025, Gaston was selected to perform with the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Big Band under the direction of legendary bassist Christian McBride; a distinction earned by only a handful of musicians nationwide. A national semifinalist in both the National Trumpet Competition and the International Trumpet Guild Jazz Competition, he has been celebrated by Jazz at Lincoln Center and DownBeat Magazine and named “a must-hear!” by Grammy-winning trumpeter Brian Lynch. He has also been a featured artist at the Panama Jazz Festival three consecutive years. Gaston currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
